Jailbreaking , is the process of removing the limitations imposed by Apple on devices running the iOS operating system through use of custom kernels. Such devices include the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and 2nd Gen Apple TV.

Jailbreaking is necessary if the user intends to run software not authorized by Apple.It allows the iOS user to access files and settings which would not be accessible otherwise..

But up until now the only way to jailbreak an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running iOS 5.0 and up was to perform a tethered jailbreak. That means that you needed to connect your mobile device to a computer and run the jailbreak software again any time you reboot.Got it??

To perform a safe untethered Jailbreak , follow these steps carefully!

1. Ensure that you are Running your iOS 5.0.1 on a supported device and your computer has iTunes installed on it.

2.Download redsn0w for your Windows or OS X.

3.Unzip the Folder and Right-click on redsn0w.exe and select “run as administrator.” Make sure to click yes on any alerts that pop up..

4.Click on the button which says Jailbreak..

5.Follow the instructions and make sure your device is turned off and plugged into your computer. (Turning an iOS device off isn’t quite as simple as tapping the power button. Make sure to press-and-hold the power button, then slide the red button that pops up to completely power off your device).

6.Click 'Next'..

7.Enter DFU Mode..Don't know hoe to?? What am I for?

1.Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
2.Without lifting your finger from the power button, press and hold the home button for 10 seconds.
3.Keep holding the home button for another 15 seconds, but lift your finger from the power button.
